Where are the Local Listings?

Where are the Local Listings? They're on my new website Locally Owned Locally Made Gosford at lhttp://locallygosford.blogspot.com.au/.

Feedback made urgent the moving of the Local Listings to the new site, so they can flourish without having to be hunted down on this site.

Locally Owned Locally Made Gosford
will have live links to businesses websites and business phone numbers for tradespeople and others who don’t need websites. When I first go live, I’ll be putting up some live links and phone numbers for free until I have things sorted out and I’m ready to charge (standard) pay-per-click rates. Enjoy!

Kendall Street

Basement construction is going well, October 2017

A good pace of work is being kept up in the basement of this apartment tower.

Concrete truck, worker & crane, October 2017

The concrete truck is back and being put through its paces again.

Stacks of formply waiting, October 2017

Stacks of formply ready and waiting to be used. Stacked up materials don’t stay stacked up long on this site either. They’re put to use pretty quickly. So far, this is one of the faster moving building sites in Gosford.

All purpose bag used by crane operator, October 2017

These all-purpose bags are used on the building sites to move fiddly bits of rubbish and rubble out of different areas of the site, to fill up with dry materials to move into the site and to fill up with sand and use as weights stacked on construction that needs to be weighted for whatever reason.

The workers on the ground, and sometimes on the back of trucks, load them up, the crane operator lowers his hook so the workers can put it through the handles of the bag then they stand back and he raises the hook, swings the crane’s arm around and lowers the bag to a spot on the site where two or three other workers are waiting to guide it into position.

Sold out

Kendall Street site sold out already, October 2017

This site is already sold out and they haven’t even broken ground yet. In the photo below you can see why.

Kendall Street’s view, October 2017

This view is why the site in the photo above has sold out even though they haven’t started building. That is a million dollar view, over the football stadium and down the length of Brisbane Water to Lion Island and northern Sydney.
