Where are the Local Listings?

Where are the Local Listings? They're on my new website Locally Owned Locally Made Gosford at lhttp://locallygosford.blogspot.com.au/.

Feedback made urgent the moving of the Local Listings to the new site, so they can flourish without having to be hunted down on this site.

Locally Owned Locally Made Gosford
will have live links to businesses websites and business phone numbers for tradespeople and others who don’t need websites. When I first go live, I’ll be putting up some live links and phone numbers for free until I have things sorted out and I’m ready to charge (standard) pay-per-click rates. Enjoy!

Hills Street North Gosford

To see the other 2 articles I’ve published today, one on the building site at Terry Avenue in Woy Woy and the other on the Singo tower site in Mann Street Gosford itself, scroll down, or click on “July” in the sidebar to the right.

The Hills Street apartment building in North Gosford has progressed quite a bit, on the outside.

(In the background, on the right, you can see another active building site at or near the hospital.)

It’s just a short walk from the Hills Street building to Gosford’s shopping centre and railway station and it’s mostly downhill, as the name Hills Street would suggest. The hills are not steep and I estimate it would take about 20 minutes to walk to the station from this building.

From Mann Street North Gosford, you can more easily see the size of this building. It looks quite substantial, especially as it sits near the top of a small hill.

I talked about the views from the Hills Street building in an earlier post but they’re worth talking about again. I’m not yet sure what sort of views the lower floors will have but the upper floors of this building will have extensive views west over the Glenworth Valley and should also have some views east past the Dwyer Street building and over the ridge and so out to the Tasman Sea.

I don’t know how fast the plumbing, electricity and other services are being installed in this building’s lower floors as work continues on the middle and upper floors so it’s hard to tell how close it is to being ready to move into. Another few weeks should provide some news about that.

Come back next week for more photos and maps. Or enter your email address where it says "Follow By Email" in the sidebar at the right.
