Seen from the Hills Street apartment tower site, the building site at the Gosford Hospital reveals its true size.
Even the main entrance to the
hospital is undergoing upgrades.
From Gosford’s main street, air-ambulance helicopters can be seen coming in to land at the hospital’s existing heliport.
The existing heliport is painted onto the roof of a small staff carpark and there’s a gate behind which the trolley beds must wait while the chopper lands. Then the patient or patients are rushed back into the building and down a corridor to the emergency treatment rooms.
A big new helipad under
construction on the roof of one of the hospital’s new buildings.
Opposite the hospital's Holden Street frontage, the ground has at last been broken at
the Beane Street West site. It’s actually two sites not one: one small
site on the south side of Beane Street West and the much bigger one on the
north side.
I've published another page today, about Tiny Houses being built on the corner of Showground Road and Racecourse Road, opposite the old high school.
Come back later today or next week for more pages full of photos of my town changing before our very eyes. Or type your email address in the box in the sidebar ( ---> ) for updates delivered to your inbox.
